Lee Rebel Coaches

Scott Hicks is in his 5th year as head coach for the Boys Soccer Program. He also serves as the defensive line coach for the Rebel Varsity football team. In his 18th year of coaching at Lee High School, he has also coached at Alamo and Abell Junior High schools. Coach Hicks graduated from Lee High School and Texas Tech University. He and his wife Kim, have five children, Brandon 17, Kade 15, Morgan 12, Haden 10 and Emalea 5.

Dustin Payne is in fouth year at Lee High School and this year he moves to the boys program after four years as the Girls JV Coach . A graduate of Permian High School, he earned his Associates Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Odessa College, and also graduated and played soccer at University of Texas Permian Basin from 2004-2008 where he helped the university win their first conference championship.
