Hicks on the 2016 Rebels: Hicks said he expects his team will bring a fast-paced, attacking style of play to the field this year. "We're going to try to attack, challenge the opponent's defense. We expect to be a quick team, a better scoring team this year." ..."Similar to last season, the Rebels weren't the biggest or most physical team in the district. But Hicks said his squad should be able to make up for that shortcoming with its speed and returning experience....Hicks added that while his midfield and forward groups are stengths, he and co-head coach Dusty Payne are still trying to lock down a full-time starter goalie. Several candidates are being considered, including Lee football players Brock Murry and Kade Hicks. To start the season, Hicks said that Junior Eddie Ramirez is considered the favorite to win the job in goal for the Rebels.
